5 TIPS TO STUDY SMART

Being a student is a tedious job. From school to coaching classes to other competitive tuition classes to outperform your academics, a student takes the entire day to accentuate his scorecard. Then to avail extracurricular learning, the weekends are occupied as well. Also, these days, every individual has their own social and personal life. A number of assignments, an evaluation test, and examinations tighten up the grip. Altogether, we all have 168 hours in a week, but to utilize it accordingly and productively is the actual win. A plethora of research paper, journals have been come up with the acute research upon the time management and also the strategies to endorse more in short duration of time.

The trend of taking several coaching class is dominating every section of society. There is a section of society who actually cannot cope up with the pseudo-high-level standard set by the elites. In order to sustain yourself in this curriculum, the student must learn the best dos and don't to fly high in their life. Below is some not so common strategy which every student must engulf to learn quickly and utilize the time efficiently.

1. Don't Multitask: In the quest of gaining more, often people gain nill. Multitasking makes you distracted and less productive. Also, this data is conclusive. The self-proclaimed multi-tasker is not the actual multi-tasker but on an average, they work comparatively less. It is important that when you make a mind to study a lesson, don't involve yourself in multitasking of checking twitter and listening to music while studying.

2. Endorse handwritten notes rather than a laptop: It is scientifically proven, when you yourself reframe your sentences and take notes accordingly of the lecture, it stays with you for an ample amount of time. Undoubtedly, the hegemony of laptops has made the art of writing in a submissive domain.

3. Take a break: Taking a break for 45 minutes has reportedly resulted in the most productive learning. Go for a timer or stopwatch to help you remind the most quintessential break. Go for a light walk or tune into some music. Music therapy works great and also helps in revamping the learned lesson.

4. Treat yourself: Set a target before you begin your study. Once achieved, treat yourself by ordering a pizza or watch a movie. Remember, don't take this as a habit where you begin your treat episodes with decreasing the intensity of your learning.

5. Optimize your process not the outcome: The fundamental mantra of every successful student is, they completely focus on the learning process, keeping aside the outcome. Not-so-successful students manage to set performance goals, while successful students manage to set learning goals. Essential and most empirical difference between both.

According to Rajesh Bhatia, founder of Tree House, “Working hard is essential but working hard in the right direction is quintessential.”
